Because we believe that dialogue is central to how we grow and develop our understanding of scripture, we host regular events.

Reimagining Faith: The Lost Message of Paul

Building on the success of his new book, 'The Lost Message of Paul', in 2020 Steve will be visiting a number of cities to talk about the issues it raises. It would be great to see you at one of these!

Tickets are available at the following links:
February 29 - Christ Church Pitsmoor, Sheffield

March 28 - Oasis Academy Woodview, Birmingham

April 18 - Oasis Academy MediaCityUK, Salford

June 6 - Oasis Church Bath

June 20 - Oasis Church Waterloo

More about the event:
What if over the centuries we've misunderstood Paul's core message? What if his words have been 'borrowed' and pressed into service to support discrimination, judgementalism and prejudice? How are we saved and why does it matter? Hell, heaven, salvation and faith are all on the agenda along with what they mean for the mission of the church today.

Steve Chalke will share insights honed from years of experience in church leadership and research and study on the message of Paul. With opportunities for questions, discussion, and reflection, and a chance to delve into some of the deepest questions surrounding the Christian faith - this event is aimed at everyone passionate about having a faith and a Church that is relevant for the 21st-century.

All venues are fully accessible other than Bath (an older building with poor vehicle access). If you would like to join us there, please get in touch so that we can discuss your accessibility needs.

Oasis Church Waterloo - weekly services

Oasis Church Waterloo is an inclusive community of ordinary people exploring life together, where everyone is welcomed. Our mission is simply this: To be an example of what an inclusive community, living Christ’s way, looks and acts like.

We meet on Sundays in the Oasis Auditorium at 11am for a relaxed, informal service and supported by a parent/carer and baby space, kids’ church and youth church. Our evening congregation covers the same topic but is more reflective and discussion-based, and meets in the Hub Coffee House at 6.30pm. If you’d like to know more, please click here.
